Erika Nielsen Andrew
Erika is the Senior Director of National Summit Programs where she co-leads design and implementation of the National Summit and ensures the Summit supports and strengthens the improvement community's learning, impact, connection, and aspirations.
Prior to joining Carnegie in 2022, Erika served the goal of educational improvement in a variety of roles, including as Director of Professional Learning at Folio Collaborative, Senior Director, Schools at EL Education, Chief Academic Officer at Teaching Channel, Founding Executive Director at Envision Learning Partners, and Executive Director, Urban Schools Network. In all these roles she led efforts to solve persistent education problems in new and innovative ways.
Erika began her career as a high school history teacher and administrator. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, her Master of Arts from Stanford University and her doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley.
