Amy Keltner
Amy Keltner joined the Carnegie Foundation in 2022. As Managing Director for Project Management and Program Support, she is responsible for partnering with organizational leaders to create, implement, and monitor portfolios of work aimed at achieving the Foundation’s mission.
After a career in consulting and technology, Amy has worked in education since 2009, most recently as the Chief Impact Officer at Denver Public Schools. In this role she led strategy, project management, research and evaluation, continuous improvement and innovation. Previously she served as Deputy Superintendent (interim), Deputy Chief of Schools, and Chief of Staff for Academics, and developed the district’s tiered school support program for school improvement and turnaround. Prior to joining DPS, Amy was a vice president and general manager at a global consulting and technology firm, leading business operations, project and program management, and quality management. Amy also completed a fellowship with the Washington Association for Children and Families through Foster America, a leadership program dedicated to transforming the life outcomes of our country’s most vulnerable children.
Amy received a bachelor’s in comparative literature with a minor in Spanish from Bryn Mawr College, a master’s in management information systems from the University of Arizona, and a master’s in educational leadership from the Broad Center.
